Objective function/ quality function

also goal function, the function to be optimized (optimization), depending on the object parameters (also referred to as search space parameters or phenotype parameters). The objective function constitutes the implementation of the problem to be solved. The input parameters are the object parameters. The output is the objective value representing the evaluation/quality of the individual/phenotype. In a multi-criteria optimization problem, the objective function returns multiple objective values. The objective value is often referred to as fitness.
